What began as a humble call to serve the hungry of Mobile and Baldwin counties in 1981, has grown throughout the years to reach 24 counties across the Central Gulf Coast. Join us this year we celebrate 40 years of service as Feeding the Gulf Coast, formerly Bay Area Food Bank.

Feeding the Gulf Coast is celebrating its official anniversary on December 1, 2021. You can join the fun by helping us collect 40,000 pounds of essential meal items.

Every $40 donated provides 200 meals

Did you know that the food bank can turn every $1 donated into 5 meals? When you give $40 to the food bank, you're helping to provide 200 meals for those in need in our area.


Double Down Food/Fundraising Challenge

In celebration of our 40 years of service, we are doubling down on our Food & Fund Drives goal for 2021, and we need your help to meet this challenge! Individuals or groups wanting to hold a traditional food drive can hold a 40-day food drive for us in which we will provide you with a suggested list of the most needed items that can be donated on each of the 40 days.
