Feeding the Gulf Coast is actively serving the Central Gulf Coast as COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to impact our service area.

The food bank, and our partner agencies, provide an essential service. We are maintaining regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8-4. Please call (888) 704-FOOD if you need assistance or have any questions.

The impacts of COVID-19 add substantially more pressure to the already strained finances of those we serve and so many more. We are actively working to meet the increased needs in our service area. Due to school closures, the inability to work, or self-quarantine requirements, many families across the Central Gulf Coast are struggling with food insecurity, many for the first time.

We Need Your Help

As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities the need is ever increasing. Feeding the Gulf Coast is committed to meeting the need, and you can help! We anticipate needing to provide an additional 5.6 million meals, totaling 19.8 million meals, over the next six months to ensure we reach those most vulnerable in our community due to COVID-19 and its economic impacts.

To ensure we best serve our community throughout this time of heightened need, we are distributing emergency food boxes for those affected by school closures, quarantines, and the growing economic impact of this crisis.

But we cannot do it alone. Your support is always needed, especially during these uncertain times. As we continue to operate, please consider a donation to help us meet the increased demand for hunger-relief in our communities. If you're interested in hosting a Funds Drive, please email Missy Busby.

Get Involved

Now more than ever, healthy volunteers are needed to sort and pack food and prepare emergency food boxes. Please consider volunteering to help us meet the increased needs in the community. Volunteer shifts are scheduled to ensure small groups to comply with social distancing guidelines. Please sign up before showing up for a shift.
