Help Us Celebrate 40 Years of Hope

Take the 40-Hour Challenge in 2021: This year, we encourage everyone to volunteer at least 40 hours with Feeding the Gulf Coast. Volunteers help us provide hope to those in need by helping sort and box food, pack "backpacks" for our Backpack Program, or pack boxes of food for our Senior Box Program, which provides food for senior citizens in need. Any volunteer who meets this goal by the end of 2021 will receive a special Feeding the Gulf Coast anniversary t-shirt!

Double Down Fundraising Challenge: In celebration of our 40 years, we are doubling down on our Food & Fund Drives goal for 2021, and we need your help to meet this challenge! We have set a Food & Fund Drives goal of $80,000, which can provide 400,000 meals to individuals and families. As we join forces to raise this money together, we can provide hope to so many!

40-Days of Hope Food Drive Challenge: Individuals or groups wanting to hold a traditional food drive can hold a 40-day food drive for us in which we will provide you with a suggested list of most needed items that can be donated on each of the 40 days. There will be a different suggested item to donate for each day. As the food drive organizer, you can encourage people to give all 40 days, but if that is not possible for everyone, they can give as much as they can throughout the food drive. At the end of your drive, we will let you know how many meals your food donation can provide to those in need.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update:

Now more than ever, healthy volunteers are needed to sort and pack food and prepare emergency food boxes. During this time of increased need, please consider volunteering.

Feeding the Gulf Coast is experiencing a decrease in food drives during this time due to COVID-19 restricting public functions and businesses.

It takes funds for us to do what we do and get food to those who need it most. We are so grateful for the many individuals, groups, and organizations that have donated to support our efforts. To learn how YOU can host a fund drive, contact Missy Busby.

Another fun and easy way to host a fund drive for Feeding the Gulf Coast is directly through Facebook! Share your fundraiser with your friends and make a difference in the lives of those in need in your community.
